Standard Bleeding Procedures

Procedure





- Connect bleeder on expansion tank.

NOTE:
- Check relevant Operating Instructions for each device.
- Charging pressure should not exceed 2 bar.





- Connect bleeder hose with bottle on rear-right bleeder screw.
Loosen bleeder screw.
Tighten bleeder screw when escaping brake fluid is free of air bubbles.
Proceed in the same way at left rear, right front and left front.





- After finishing work:
Check brake-fluid level.
Pay attention to rubber seal (1).
Refer to specifications on BMW approved brake fluid.
