Motorola 65/80 A

NOTE: Alternator removed





- Remove pulley and tan.




- Remove voltage regulator and carbon-brush holder.
- Remove B + connection and cover.




- Unsolder wires in connections (1) and (2).
- Unscrew screws for diode plate.

Installation:
- Reinstall bush (3) and insulating section.




- Mark housing sections, unscrew bolts and pull housing sections apart




- If there is stiffness from the face (through the regulator opening), drive out rotor towards rear with brief knocks from a piece of hard wood and a plastic hammer.




- Disconnect stator winding on housing.




- Unscrew bearing cover.
