Spark Plug: Service and Repair

Replacing spark plugs (M44)





- Remove cover from cable channel.





- Remove spark-plug connectors.
- Unscrew and remove spark plugs with Special Tool 12 1 171.





Installation Note: Tighten the spark plugs using Special Tool 12 1 171 in conjunction with Special Tool 12 1 200. If Special Tool 12 1 200 is not used, note tightening torque 30 ± 3 Nm.





- Note arrangement of ignition leads in cylinder head cover.
