Maximum Engine Speed Limit

Selective injector canceling is used to limit the maximum engine RPM. The Siemens MS41.1 Control Module will shut down individual cylinders as required to prevent an overrev situation when the engine reaches the maximum rev limit.

The injectors will be shut down in the following sequence: 6 - 5 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 1
