3. Central Locking System Module (ZVM)

Procedure:
If the Central Locking Module is diagnosed as faulty and must be replaced, proceed as follows:

1. Disconnect battery

2. Check ground connections X1166 and X10010 in the front passenger footwell for proper contact

3. Replace Central Locking Module

4. Reconnect battery

5. Initialize Central Locking Module:

- Switch on ignition (KL15)

- Lock Central Locking System

- Unlock Central Locking System

- Open and close driver's door

Note:
After replacement, the new Central Locking Module must be coded. Refer to Diagnostic Procedures Manual, Section 0151.OA-20.
