Vehicle Speed Sensor/Transducer - Cruise Control: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Or Replacing Active Cruise Control ACC Sensor


Remove and install complete front bumper.







Release screws (1) and remove air duct.
Press cable out of mountings.







Release screws (1) and disconnect plug (2) under ACC sensor.


NOTE: After installation and removal, following work steps must be carried out:
1. Code ACC sensor with current coding program.
2. Initialize ACC sensor; to do so, work through test module "ACC initialization" (service functions).
3. Carry out ACC sensor adjustment with MoDiC or DIS.
4. Take car for a test drive.
