Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Disable airbag system, refer to Air Bags and Seat Belts/Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems)/Service and Repair
2. Remove steering wheel as described under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY COMPONENTS/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES/STEERING WHEEL
3. Remove retaining screws at top of instrument cluster.
4. Pry out top of instrument cluster slightly and pull forward so it rests on steering column.
5. Disconnect plugs and wires. Slide cluster out towards right.

6. To replace any of gauges on the instrument cluster refer to Fig. 7.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
