Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

- Switch off ignition.
- Remove distributor cap with left ignition wiring harness.




- Unscrew bolt (1). Remove sensor.




Installation Notes:
- Check seal (1) for damage, replace if damaged. To facilitate assembly coat seal with anti-friction agent.
- Interrogate fault memory of control unit on Digital Motor Electronics (DME), check fault messages in memory, rectify faults and cancel fault memory.
