With Integrated Air Conditioning



Removing and Installing Complete Heater (with integrated air conditioning)

- Remove instrument panel.





- Pull off rubber part and pry out grill.





- Remove screws from cable channel.





- Remove screws on right-hand side and take off holder.





- Remove screw on left side and pull out air collector in upwards direction.

Note: Air collector will be difficult to pull out.





- Connect service station to vehicle and draw refrigerant out of air conditioning system.

Caution! R-12 system.





- Connect service station to vehicle and draw refrigerant out of air conditioning system.

Caution! R-134a system





- Unscrew screw and place water flange to one side. Blow air into feed hose to prevent residual coolant in heater core from running out on the carpet.





Caution! Always replace 0-rings.





- Unscrew left and right bolts.





- Remove nuts.

Installation note:
Tightening torque 3.5 Nm (2.6 ft lbs).





- Cut off cable strap (2). Remove screws and remove reinforcement pipe for steering column.





- If applicable, remove reinforcement pipe for passenger airbag.





- Lift Control unit out and disconnect plug.





- Disconnect connector and cut off cable strap.





- Remove screw and heater.
