Camshaft Drive

Camshaft Drive:

The maintenance free. duplex roller chain is used to drive the camshafts. The guide rails and cam gear teeth are rubber coated to reduce noise. The chain tensioner has been redesigned. Assembly now requires only that the tensioner be screwed into position. Bleeding takes place automatically.

The trigger wheel for the camshaft position sensor is mounted to the intake camshaft drive gear as in the past.
