Battery Power

BATTERY POWER/KL 15 VOLTAGE SUPPLY INPUTS/GROUNDS

The ABS/ASC control module receives the following voltage supplies for its operating power:

KL 30 - Constant battery power: The module receives constant battery voltage for system operation and to maintain the fault memory.

KL 15 - Ignition key on input: Switched power supply for the operation of the control module and system is provided through a relay. Depending on the model year and system the switched power will be supplied by:

^ ABS Overvoltage Protection Relay
^ ABS Relay
^ Main Relay





Ground circuits are provided for the ABS/ASC control module's operation and the input/output control signals.
