Replacing Heater Core





Unfasten clip from left air duct, twist air duct and pry out.





Installation:
Fit air duct to end wall, twist and insert at bottom of microfilter.





Unfasten water hoses (1 to 3) on the end wall. Carefully blow out lines to
clear remaining coolant from heater.

Installation:
Fill and bleed the cooling system: Service and Repair

Remove center console Service and Repair
Remove trim for instrument panel (lower section): Service and Repair
Remove lower section of steering column trim panel and footwell trim, then remove left footwell air duct: Service and Repair





Unfasten screws and pull out left footwell air outlet.





Unfasten screws and remove pipes.
Installation:
Replace O-rings.





Unfasten screws and remove right footwell air outlet.





Unfasten screw and remove bracket.





Unfasten clips and lift out rear compartment ventilation duct.





Disconnect actuator motor for rear compartment ventilation and place to one side.





Unfasten screws and clips and remove cover from heater core.





Remove heater core.
