Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

- Read fault memory. Switch off ignition.




- Unfasten hose clip (1) and open clips (2). Disconnect plug-in connection (3).




- Unfasten screws (1) and remove container (2) from rubber gaiter.




- Unscrew bolt (1).
- Remove intake filter housing with rubber gaiter.




- If necessary, unfasten clips (3 and 4).
- Disconnect intake filter housing and mass air flow sensor.




Installation Note: Install housing support in rubber mount.

- Interrogate fault memory of DME-control unit, check faults stored in memory, rectify faults then cancel fault memory.
- Install suction snorkel.
