Repair Kit IV For Vehicle Electronics 61 9 020:

Safety Instructions:

- Check before repairing the wiring harness (e.g. sharp-edged body components, defective consumers, jamming mechanical parts, corrosion caused by water ingress etc.).
- Interrogate fault memory.
- Remedy cause of fault.
- Disconnect battery ground.

CAUTION: Only perform repairs to wiring harness if no safety-related systems on the circuit diagram (e.g. antilock braking system, active rear axle kinematics, airbag etc.) are affected. If this is not the case, replace defective wiring harness or use repair cable.

- After a wiring harness repair operation, perform a function check and interrogate the fault memory once again. If necessary, remedy any other faults then cancel the fault memory.
- Operating instructions are enclosed with the repair kit 61 9 020. They contain the order details and sections of the parts list.
