Ignition Switch












The ignition switch has a new feature that disengages the key cylinder from the electrical contacts mechanism which is similar to the left door lock cylinder. This prevents an incorrect key, screw driver or slide hammer from forcibly destroying the cylinder to access the electrical contacts of the ignition switch.

When the proper key is removed from the key slot the cylinder disengages from the electrical contacts. The cylinder can be turned continuously with no connection to the ignition switch.
