Headlight Assembly







The E38 headlight assembly utilizes an ellipsoidal low beam reflector and a free form parabolic highbeam reflector. Both low and high beams use halogen bulbs.

The headlight assembly has a DOT approved replaceable glass covering.

In the event of headlight damage the glass covering can be replaced separately from the complete assembly.

Bulb replacement requires an H7 halogen bulb for the high beams and an H1 bulb for the low beams. The new H7 bulb produces a brighter beam with a larger lighted area. Consequently side illumination is also improved with high beam operation.

The new DOT approved assembly uses an integral bubble level and horizontal / vertical beam adjusters to adjust the light. Complete repair and adjustment procedures are found in TIS.
