Step 3

This step is only possible after steps # 1 and # 2 have been successfully completed.

The navigation computer determines the magnetic field generated by the rear windshield defogger grid so it can compensate for this disturbance when the rear defogger is switched on.





First switch ON the rear defogger and then select the ON button on the menu.Press the rotary knob. Wait for acknowledgment by the navigation system. This is accomplished when the display changes from ON to Off.





Switch the rear defogger OFF Press the rotary knob.Wait for acknowledgment by the navigation system.





FINISH CALIBRATION

Once all of the required calibration procedures have been carried out, select FINISH CALIBRATION and press the button. This will display whether the calibration process was successful or if faults or problems have occurred that require troubleshooting with the DIS tester.





Press the rotary knob to CONTINUE





Now you are out of the calibration mode back in the normal navigation system function.
