Adjusting rear axle (with KDS)
Note: Any change in camber always involves a change in toe: for this reason, the camber must always be adjusted first.
Adjusting camber:
Before aligning, replace and tighten down disc collar nut.
For tightening torque, refer to Technical Data Suspension Specifications.
Loosen disc collar nut 0.5 ... 1 complete turn.
Using the eccentric screw, adjust camber precisely to nominal value, refer to Alignment Specifications.
Tighten down disc collar nut. For tightening torque, refer to Suspension Specifications.
Caution! If ever the disc collar nut is tightened more than 10 times during the alignment check, it must be replaced. The self-locking effect becomes too slight.
Adjusting toe:
Before aligning, replace and tighten down disc collar nut.
Tightening torque, refer to Suspension Specifications.
Unfasten disc collar nut 0.5 ... 1 complete turn.
