Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair

REMOVING AND INSTALLING DASHBOARD TRIM PANEL

- Remove steering wheel.

- Remove and let steering column switch hang down.

- Remove Instrument cluster.

- Remove center console. Service and Repair





- Unscrew screw and take off hood release lever.





- Turn clips and take off trim panel at left.





- Additionally for Right Side:
Unscrew screws.





- Turn clips and take off bottom dashboard trim panel.

- Additionally for Right Side:
Disconnect plug.

Installation:
Check for correct seating of heater duct.





- Unclip left and right A-pillar plates.





- Unscrew left and right front screws.





- Loosen left and right screws (footwell).





- Lift out left and right plates and unscrew screws.





- Lift out dashboard toward rear.

- Disconnect plugs.





Installation:
Align dashboard and door trim panels with the doors shut.
