Left Cylinder Head

(engine removed)





Raise engine with special tool 11 0 000.

Caution: Only raise engine on locating lugs provided for this purpose.

Remove guide tube for dipstick, refer to Engine Lubrication
Remove retaining brackets from both sides of cylinders.





Fit special tool 00 1 461 to side of cylinders 1 to 6.





Fit special tool 00 1 462 to cylinder bank 7 to 12.





Install engine in special tool 00 1 450, locate locking detent (1).
Close locking detents (2) on right and left and screw down.
