The Trailing Arm Track Link suspension system is found on the following vehicles:
- E32/E34 - All models
- E28 - 528e and 524td from 5/86, 535i from 1-88
- E24 - from 3/82
- E23 - from 9/82

The system consists of the following:







This is a trailing arm suspension system with an additional link incorporated into the outboard mount of each trailing arm.

As the trailing arm moves up and down the track link causes an automatic change in the camber and toe in throughout the travel of the suspension. The result is improved handling characteristics.
