Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Oil Pressure Switch (M60, M62)


Switch off ignition.
Unfasten oil filter cover to enable engine oil in filter to flow back into the oil pan.







M60:
Disconnect connector.







M62:
Unfasten plug connection (1). (Shown here with oil filter disconnected)







Unscrew and remove switch.

Installation:
Screw on oil-filter cover tightly.

Check engine oil level and top up with engine oil if necessary.
