Replacing Trunk Lid Lock (Lock Cylinder)

Removing and Installing/Replacing Trunk Lid Lock (Lock Cylinder) (Z3 Coupe, M Coupe)







Remove tailgate trim panel,


Lift out actuating rods (1).
Unfasten screw (2) and remove lock cylinder (3).

Installation:
Mount actuating rods (1) tension-free and readjust if necessary.
Check operation with trunk lid open.
