Intensive Window and Headlight Cleaning

The following functions are activated:
1. Windscreen wiping
2. Windscreen washing
3. Windscreen intensive cleaning
4. Headlight cleaning
5. Deactivation of electric consumers

Windscreen wiping
Wiper speed
When vehicle is stationary, wiper stage 1 is set back to intermittent wipe. During intermittent wipe the interval time is adapted to the road speed. Interval time can also be programmed.

Programming:
- Switch on terminal R or ignition.
- Briefly set wiper switch to intermittent wipe and then off again.
- The time up to switching it on again (maximum 25 seconds) is stored as the required interval time. Programming is deleted each time ignition is switched off.

Windshield washing:
- Switch on terminal R or ignition.
- Briefly tipping the switch activates the windshield washing pump and
switches the wipers on after a brief delay.

Intensive windshield cleaning:
- Switch on terminal R or ignition.
- Briefly tipping the switch activates intensive windshield cleaning pump and switches the wipers on after a brief delay. Afterwards the windscreen is rinsed with normal washing fluid and then wiped dry.

Headlight cleaning:
- Switch on terminal R or ignition.
- The pump is only switched on to clean the headlights if the headlights themselves are switched on.

Blocking protection:
The wiper motor is switched off if the module does not receive a reset
contact signal within 16 seconds after activating the wiper motor. the reset contact is integrated in the wiper motor (microswitch). the reset contact signal indicates the parked position of wiper blades on the windscreen. the reset contact always switches when the parked position of wiper blades on the windscreen is reached.
