Replacing Shift-Arm Support

Unfasten propeller shaft from front of transmission, refer to Drive Propeller Shaft, Bearings and Joints.
Remove shift lever.
Using a mandrel, release thrust bearing (1) from bracket.
Pull support off shift arm.





Installation:
Coat mount with Kluber Polylub GLY 801, or equivalent.
Clip mount (1) in holder with arrow (2) facing up.

Caution: Check that thrust bearing is firmly seated in bracket.
