Cutting Cable to Length

Use special tool 61 9 043 (insulation strippers with wire cutter).





Cutting to length
Slide upper handle of insulation strippers (6) in direction A arrow until cutting tool (7) becomes visible. Open pliers in final position and hold in this position.





Hold wire (8) between cutters and squeeze pliers as far as they will go.





Stripping off insulation
Guide wire (1) until behind knife. Wire length (2) behind knife blade represents the length from which insulation will be stripped.

Squeeze pliers until wire is held tight by jaws (3).





Continue to squeeze pliers. This strips insulation from wire (4).





Open pliers and remove stripped wire (5).
