Replacing Pulse Generator (Output Speed)

Note: Transmission oil sump removed.

Remove and install transmission oil sump, refer to Transmission Pan, Service and Repair.
After completing work, top up ATF level.
Check/top up fluid level in automatic transmission, refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid, Testing and Inspection.

It is absolutely essential to use the approved automatic transmission fluid in this automatic transmission.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious damage to the automatic transmission!





Remove connector (1).
Release screw (2).
Withdraw pulse generator (3).

Installation:
Tightening Torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.
Read out fault memory of EGS control module, check stored fault messages, rectify faults, clear fault memory.
