Engine Removed


Remove both exhaust manifolds.





Secure engine with special tool 11 8 040 (locating plate) to special tool 00 1 490 (assembly stand).

Note: Special tool 11 3 350 (locating plate) can also be used after machining.

Subsequent procedure is described in the section dealing with removal of cylinder head, refer to Engine Installed.
