Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Replacing pulse generator (ASS 440Z)
(Driving or turbine speed)
(Transmission oil pan removed)

Pulse generator driving speed:





Release screw, remove retainer (1) and pulse generator (2) from transmission housing.

Installation:
Tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.





Disconnect cable plug (1) from pulse generator (2).

Pulse generator turbine speed:





Release screw, remove retainer (1) and pulse generator (2) from transmission housing.
Installation:
Secure cable to retainer (3).
Tightening torque, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Specifications.





Disconnect cable plug (1) from pulse generator (2).
