Replacing Sensor For Cylinder Recognition (Camshaft Sensor) (M73)

Switch off ignition.

Remove distributor cap with left ignition wiring harness.

Unscrew bolt (1). Remove sensor.







Installation:
Check seal (1) for damage, replace if damaged. To facilitate assembly coat seal with anti-friction agent.

Interrogate fault memory of control unit on Digital Motor Electronics (DME), check fault messages in memory, rectify faults and cancel fault memory.
