Replacing Trim Strip On Roof Frame

Removing and Installing Trim Strip On Left or Right Roof Frame (Z3 coupe, M coupe)







First lever out trim strip (1) at rear with special tool 00 9 321 (fishbone), then unclip rest up to front and pull out of seal (2) toward rear.







Replace defective clips (1) on roof outer skin if necessary.







Installation:
Push front trim strip (1) into seal (2), clip in at rear flush to edge (3) and then clip in rest.
