Accelerator Pedal: Adjustments
Manual transmission
1. Accelerator pedal on idle speed stop.
2. Throttle valve in idling position.
3. Adjust Bowden cable with adjusting screw (2) until there is no clearance.
4. Adjust adjusting screw (C) on full throttle stop of pedal until there is still clearance of 0.5 mm on throttle valve when pedal is in full throttle position. (Untighten adjusting screw 1.5 complete turns - corresponds to 0.5 mm air).
Lock full-throttle stop with nut.
Automatic transmission:
1. through 3. as for manual transmission
4. Adjust full throttle detent until, in kick-down setting (full throttle detent depressed), there is still 0.5 mm of clearance at full throttle stop on throttle valve.
(Untighten full throttle detent 1.5 complete turns - corresponds to 0.5 mm air).
Lock kick-down detent with nut.
5. Depress pedal as far as transmission pressure point and adjust guide sleeve on full throttle detent until pressure point on transmission is aligned with pressure point on full throttle detent.
