Replacing Lines From Distribution Block to Strut/Shock

Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Pipes (air Lines) From Distributor Block To Spring Strut/Shock Absorber Unit


Caution!
- In area of air line connections, extreme cleanliness must be ensured during removal and installation.
- Even small dirt particles can cause leakage in the system.

Remove wheels.
Remove wheel arch trim.
Remove left, right and rear luggage compartment trim panels.






Unfasten line on left and right air spring struts.

Installation:
Refer to "New Air Line and Screw Connections".
Unfasten lines on distributor block and cut through cable tie down side of wiring harness.
Cut through line beside rubber grommet and pull out of grommet.






Insert new line through rubber grommet as far as white mark. Secure line with cable tie.
Refer to "Routing of Pipes (Air Lines)". Vacuum and Vapor Hose Diagrams
Refer to "New Air Line and Screw Connections".
Install lines with identical colors.
