FLYWHEEL/CLUTCH
The M5 is equipped with the weight optimized, dual mass flywheel without the oil damping. As with other models, the incremental wheel is mounted to the flywheel for the engine speed and reference sensor. The self adjusting clutch (SAC) is installed which has lower release forces for easier clutch operation (less pedal force required).
