Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Front Stabilizer (Basis)
Secure engine installation position with special tool and unfasten left/right engine mounts, refer to Engine Specifications.
Partially loosen trim beside rear screws.
Brace front axle support with workshop hoist.





Unscrew left and right bolts.

Installation:
Tightening Torque, refer to Suspension Specifications.
Remove push rod from stabilizer, refer to Stabilizer Link. Remove stabilizer from front axle support.

Installation:
Wet retaining bracket with low-surface-tension water.
Tightening Torque, refer to Suspension Specifications.
Lower front axle support and pull backwards and downwards. Pull stabilizer backwards to remove.

Installation:
If necessary, replace rubber mount.
