51 12 000 Removing And Installing Entire Rear Bumper (touring)

NOTE:
- Version with trailer coupling:
- Remove finisher strip.
- Remove center body molding from rear bumper,







Unfasten left/right expanding rivets and lift wheel arch finisher (1) to one side to remove.







Version with Park Distance Control (PDC):
Open right lid (1), unfasten screw (2) and turn subwoofer speaker (3) toward front.







Version with Park Distance Control (PDC):
Lift insulating mat.
Unfasten cable connector (1).
Release connector (2), pull off and expose cable.







Unfasten screw (1) at left/right







Version with Park Distance Control (PDC):
Pull right bumper somewhat toward rear and pull out cable grommet (1) and cable.
Pull bumper backwards to remove.
