WARNING: Review Service Precautions. Improper handling could cause activation of the airbag(s) and lead to injuries! Service Precautions





- Take off cover.

NOTE: For ease of removal, insert plastic wedges in both sides of detents for instrument panel and remove cover. Do not damage instrument panel.





Installation Note:
- Front lugs in cover must locate in recesses of instrument panel.
- If necessary, insert plastic wedges to enable side detents in instrument panel to locate properly.





- Unscrew screws on right-hand side.





- Unfasten screws on left side.





- Apply pressure to side of lug to unfasten airbag module connector.





- Open locking device by exerting pressure on tab, separate connector and remove airbag module.
