Replacing Airbag Module Rear Door (Protection Package)

Removing And Installing/Replacing Airbag Module In Rear Door, Left Or Right (Protection)


CAUTION!
Observe safety regulations for handling airbag modules and pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners.
Incorrect handling can activate airbag and result in injury.

Remove rear left or right door trim panel.







Detach plug connection (1) from side airbag module.







Release screws (1) and remove side airbag module.


CAUTION!
Always replace micro-encapsulated screws!
