51 16 000 Removing And Installing Mirror On Left Or Right Front Door

Remove door trim panel.







Cut through cable connector, remove connector (1) from window regulator module and remove connector (2) (finger-jam protection).







Installation:
Note cable routing.

Route mirror wire (1) under finger-jam protection wire (2) in recess in door trim (3).







Raise finisher (1) (finger-jam protection) slightly and unfasten screws. Press inner (2) and outer (3) gasket to one side and unfasten screw. Pull mirror wire and grommet (4) right out and remove mirror (5).

Installation:
1AZ Mirror to front door 6 Nm

Carry out operational check.
