Replacing Cover on Front Seat (Comfort)

Removing and installing/replacing cover on left or right front seat (comfort)







Unfasten seatbelt screw.








Move back seat cover slightly to one side and unfasten screws.







Unfasten clips.
If rear clip is not accessible:
If necessary, unhook rear panel at bottom (without removing rear panel at top),








CAUTION!
Risk of damaging detent lugs on central clip (3).
Press down cover from above and turn downwards to remove.

Only replacing:
Pull off operating knobs (1) and (2).







Version with rear/top lumbar support switch up to
Model Year 1996:
Unlock and remove cable connectors (1... 3).
Remove switch combination (4) for seat adjustment and switch (5) for lumbar support.
Lift out wiring harness (6) of clip (7) and remove finisher.

Installation:
Wiring harness (6) must be routed around central clip (8).







Version with lumbar switch at side as of Model Year 1996:
Unfasten central clip (1) and remove.







Version with lumbar switch at side as of
Model Year 1996:
Unlock and remove cable connector (1).
Remove switch (2) and switch combination (3) for seat adjustment.
Remove cover.

Installation:
Wiring harness (4) must be routed around support for central clip (5).
