Read information on automatic trunk lid controls (electrohydraulic).
If necessary, remove and install video module.
Detach lines from hydraulic control unit.
Unhook cable strap (1) for hydraulic hoses (2).
Installation:
Lay hydraulic hoses (2) parallel and without kinks to wiring harness.
Release cable ties (1) and unhook cable straps (2). Detach hydraulic hoses (3).
Installation:
Lay hydraulic hoses (3) parallel and without kinks to wiring harness.
Turn seals (1) and remove hydraulic hoses (2).
Installation:
Lay hydraulic hoses (2) parallel and without kinks to wiring harness.
Release expansion rivet (1) and lift insulating mat (2) to one side.
Unhook cable straps (1) and remove hydraulic hoses (2).
Installation:
Lay hydraulic hoses (2) parallel and without kinks to wiring harness.
Remove retainers (1) and (2).
Lever out rubber grommet (3).
Lever out hydraulic cylinder (4) and remove with hydraulic hoses.
Remove hydraulic cylinder with hoses (4).
The hoses on the hydraulic cylinder must be sealed tight. To do so, use the plugs and cap nuts from the "Hollow union bolts for hydraulic cylinder" set.
Installation:
Check function.
