Message From ACC Control Module Missing

Message from ACC control module missing

Possible cause(s) of fault:
The CAN bus is defective (interruption, short circuit, plug-in connection)

ACC transmitting no messages or incorrect messages

Storage condition(s):
The control module for traction control continuously monitors whether transmission and reception are possible on the bus. If this is not possible several times in succession or permanently, this fault is set.

Troubleshooting procedure:
If a fault is stored in the ACC,
this fault must be remedied first.

If no fault is stored in the ACC,
the fault memories of the other partner control modules of the ACC must be read out. If problems with the ACC or with the CAN bus have also been determined there, a defect in the CAN connection to the ACC is likely.

If other CAN faults are entered in the DSC,
there is likely to be a defect in the CAN connection to the DSC.

If none of the above measures can eliminate the fault, the ACC sensor must be replaced.
