Removing Dipstick Guide Tube

REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING GUIDE TUBE FOR DIPSTICK
- Remove front splash guard.




- Unfasten guide tube for dipstick on oil pan.

Installation Note: Note direction of assembly. Clamp for securing guide tube bears the letters "TOP" on its top side.





Installation Note: Place O-ring (1) and washer (2) in oil pan, then fit guide tube (3) and clamp (4).





Installation Note: Fit bracket (1) to screw connection (2) for guide tube of dipstick.




- Unfasten screw. Remove bracket for guide tube on cylinder head cover.




- Swivel guide tube (1) on ABS hydraulic unit upwards and outwards.




- Unscrew and remove guide tube (1).





Installation Note: Insert guide tube (1) between lines on air conditioning compressor (2 and 3).
