Replacing Luggage Compartment Lid Lock Striker

Removing and Installing/Replacing Luggage Compartment Lid Lock and Striker (Z3 Coupe, M Coupe)







Only for removing luggage compartment lid lock (trunk lid lock upper part):
Remove tailgate trim panel,


Lift out actuating rod (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Push luggage compartment lid lock (3) into tailgate and to right.

Installation:
Mount actuating rod tension-free and readjust if necessary.
Check operation with trunk lid open.







Disconnect plug connector (1) and remove luggage compartment lid lock (2).

Installation:
Adjust luggage compartment lid lock,
