Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Switch: Service and Repair

51 26 020 Replacing Switch (central Locking Drive) For Tailgate Lock (Z3 Coupe, M Coupe)

Remove tailgate trim panel.







Lift out actuating rod (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Unfasten screws (3) and remove actuator drive (4).

Installation:
Mount actuating rod (1) tension-free and readjust if necessary.
Check operation with trunk lid open.
