41 62 000 Installing And Removing Trunk Lid (Z3)

NOTE:
- Engine hood was fitted and bolted in an unfinished body shell.
- Unpainted surfaces become visible after subsequent movement.
- These surfaces must be touched up with paint in the body color.

The luggage compartment lid wire harness does not have a point of connection.
Wire harness must be removed from the luggage compartment lid to remove the luggage compartment lid.
Disconnect gas pressure props.

CAUTION: Gas pressure props have strong tension.







Loosen left and right bolts (1).
Unscrew left and right bolts (2).
Remove trunk lid.
