Removing and Installing or Replacing Accelerator Pedal

Remove lower left trim from instrument panel.
Disconnect accelerator cable.





Remove retainer (1).
Disconnect spring (2).
Remove accelerator pedal.





Twist accelerator pedal until linkage lug (2) locates in recess (3) of accelerator pedal (1).





Installation:
Check bearing bushes (1) and replace if necessary.
Apply light coat of suitable grease to bearing bushes.
