Fuel Pump Relay: Service and Repair

Replacing fuel pump relay (Z3 / M54)


Turn off ignition.







Fuel pump relay is located underneath panel in front left footwell.
Installation location: refer to DIS schematics.







NOTE:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Then clear fault memory.
