54 10 127 Removing And Installing/Replacing Cover Kinematics (Z3 Coupe, M Coupe)

Remove glass tilt roof cover.
Detach motor and gear for glass roof actuation (do not remove completely).






Unfasten left/right screws (1).

NOTE: Do not lose outer stop (2) on left/right.







Remove cover kinematics (1).







When reusing cover kinematics (2):
Insert locating clip (1) in mount for cover kinematics (2).

Installation:
In event of sluggish movement, apply a light coat of "Renax GL1" (manufactured by Fuchs) to guide channel.
The door brake lubricating grease "Renax GL2" is also permitted.
