Leak Detection Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Tank Leakage Diagnosis Module (DM-TL)

Remove rear underbody protection from assemblies.
Remove cover at front left.







Unclip line (1) from line holders on fuel filter cover (2).
Release remaining screw connections and remove fuel filter cover (2).







Unlock connector (1) and remove.
Press together lock (2) on plug (3).
Detach plug (3).
Release hose clip (4), detach line (5).
Release nuts (6).
Remove holder (7) with tank leakage diagnosis module.

Installation:
Replace hose clip (4).







Release screws (1) on rear side of holder (2). Remove tank leakage diagnosis module (3) from holder (2).


Removing And Installing/Replacing Tank Leakage Diagnosis Module (M3 With DM-TL)

DM-TL = diagnosis module, tank leakage







Release screws (1) from rear.







Release screws (1) from front. Remove panel (2).







Unlock plug (4) and detach.
Release screws (6) and lower carbon canister (7) with DM-TL (5).







Installation Note: Press rubber-encased lugs (1) on carbon canister (2) into mountings (3).







Unfasten line (1) and detach.
Unfasten screws (2).
Detach DM-TL (3) from carbon canister (4).
